- Assists the teachers in bathing the children
- Serves food to the children at meal times
- Cleans the offices and the toilets
- Cleans the floor after breakfast, before the children’s nap time, after lunch and after tea time
- Ensures that the floor is dry at all times before children are allowed to walk on it.
- Ensures the cleanliness of the children’s chairs, windows, cubby holes, shelves and shoe racks
- Cleans the tables as and when they are dirty
- Assists teachers in removing mattress covers every Friday and slipping them onto the mattresses every Monday
- Assists other staff in cleaning the mess created by children
- Fills the water trough with water every morning and to empty it in the afternoon
- Controls the usage of toiletries according to the budget given
- Assists in cooking whenever needed
- Carries out any other tasks assigned by the Principal from time to time
