Responsibilities and Tasks
As an IT Lead for the Global Engineering Tools Software team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of technical professionals to provide Best in Class value-added services.
- Manage the operational workload for you and your team.
- Be responsible for the operational health (Security, Availability, Performance, Interoperability and Reliability) of Micron’s IT Systems.
- Establish and maintain effective partnership with customers, infrastructure and application groups across all sites to deliver business value.
- Lead technical teams for technical evaluation and capacity planning to meet future business/IT needs.
- Perform project management duties and communicate timely status to the customers, group, and managers.
- Perform team resourcing and be accountable for team performance in terms of KPIs and project/service deliveries.
- Regularly review where the process can be streamlined and made more efficient and standardized.
- Work with IT Architects on system or architectural changes when needed to improve performance, high availability, scalability, or propose innovative technologies.
- Ensures architectural consistency and provides technical direction through roadmap process, knowledge management, disaster recovery plan development and testing.
- Providing feedback, appraising performance, and helping your team develop their careers.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or Engineering is required. Equivalent experience and other related certifications will be considered.
- Experience in developing and supporting software applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong interest to work in a dynamic environment.
- Creative and effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management ability to comprehend customers’ needs, organize, delegate and manage tasks to deliver services that exceed customer expectation.
- Track record of being proactive, identifying gaps, making constructive suggestions and follow through to resolution
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
