Senior Accountant - GH
Our client is looking for a professional who can manage full-set accounting, taxation, management reporting, and engage with both internal and external auditors.
Responsibilities
- General accounting duties including Full-sets accounting, taxation, bank reconciliation, provisions, accruals and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Group reporting. Monthly, quarterly and yearly closing.
- Involve in the budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements related to cost accounting.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in cost accounting and related fields.
- Preparation of financial statement and management reporting. Handle company tax and reporting
- Analysis. Explain the story behind the numbers and propose solutions.
- Support external and internal audits.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or professional qualifications in ACCA or CPA
- 5-8 years’ experience in accounting with full sets of accounts and taxation.
- Competent technical skills and good analytical ability.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluency in English & Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking associates and users.
- Strong in MS Office applications: Excel.
- Knowledge in latest financial reporting standards and especially Singapore corporate tax is a requirement
- Experience with SAP systems, particularly used in manufacturing environments, is a plus.
