The Pathway Manager - Participation will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing programs and initiatives aimed at increasing tennis participation across Singapore. This role focuses on creating a structured pathway for players of all ages and skill levels to engage in tennis, ensuring a sustainable growth in participation and fostering a lifelong love for the sport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Design and implement participation programs for various age groups and skill levels, ensuring alignment with STA’s strategic goals.
- Pathway Management: Develop a clear and structured pathway for player development from grassroots to advanced levels, ensuring smooth transitions and progression opportunities.
- Community Engagement: Collaborate with schools, clubs, and community organisations to promote tennis participation and establish partnerships to enhance program reach.
- Event Coordination: Organize and manage participation events, clinics, and workshops to engage the community and provide opportunities for players to participate in tennis.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Track and analyse participation data to measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders, including parents, coaches, schools, and clubs, to ensure program success and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of resources, including facilities, equipment, and volunteers, to support participation programs.
- Marketing & Promotion: Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to raise awareness and attract participants to STA programs.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on program performance and participation trends for the Director of Tennis and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in sports program management, with a focus on participation and pathway development. Experience in tennis is highly desirable.
