Job Summary
OOm is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to join our group, responsible for managing the SEO activities of different in-house brands. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and executing highly effective SEO strategies that drive website traffic, enhance brand visibility, boost conversions, and improve website rankings for our brands.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an effective SEO strategy that improves organic search rankings and drives organic traffic growth, and optimise website visibility within the allocated budget.
- Conducting thorough keyword research and analysis to identify high-potential keywords and opportunities for optimisation to improve search rankings.
- Collaborate with the content team to optimise website content for improved search engine visibility.
- Optimise website content, including meta tags, headers, and on-page elements, to enhance search engine rankings.
- Collaborate closely with the link building team to acquire high-quality backlinks, thereby enhancing domain authority.
- Devise enhancements to the website's structure by optimising URL structure, internal linking strategy, meta data, XML sitemap, and more.
- Develop a comprehensive SEO architecture plan for the website to enhance its search engine ranking.
- Develop execution plans to optimise website speed and core web vitals.
- Monitor and resolve issues highlighted by Google Search Console.
- Perform regular website audits to identify technical issues and provide recommended solutions.
- Collaborate closely with web developers to ensure seamless execution and implementation of SEO recommendations.
- Consistently track, analyse, and generate reports on SEO performance.
- Utilise tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party platforms to monitor website performance.
- Offer strategic recommendations to improve website visibility, enhance user experience, and increase conversion rates.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices, and recommend SEO strategies that are effective and compliant with search engine guidelines.
- Conduct analysis and summaries of competitors' SEO techniques and innovative practices, regularly providing industry insights to drive business expansion and maintain a leading position in the industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of proven SEO experience, demonstrating a track record of successfully driving organic search traffic growth and improving search rankings.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and techniques.
- Proficient in utilising and analysing data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz and ChatGPT.
- Display experience in cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of how link building works.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Exhibit excellent project management abilities.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively and proactively.
