On behalf of our client we are looking for SAS Architect to work on one on one basis
on various tasks.
Job Description:
- The SAS Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of SAS-based applications and systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable, robust, and efficient.
- This role requires deep technical expertise in SAS and a strategic mindset to drive the development of advanced analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect SAS-based solutions to meet business needs and technical requirements.
- Develop and implement best practices for SAS architecture and development.
- Oversee the integration of SAS systems with other data sources and platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to SAS developers and analysts.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SAS applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all SAS applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAS architecture, processes, and standards.
- Stay current with the latest SAS technologies, tools, and industry trends.
- Mentor and train team members on SAS best practices and advanced techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAS development and architecture.
- Extensive knowledge of SAS Base, SAS Macro, SAS SQL, and SAS Enterprise Guide.
- Experience with data integration, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Proven experience in designing scalable and efficient SAS architectures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers and analysts.
- Prior experience in the defense, engineering, or technology sectors is a plus.
