Responsibilities:
- Work out a schedule for shop drawing preparation/approval and material approval/procurement based on the master program and rigorously monitor the status.
- Directly supervise BIM modelers in the production of shop drawings.
- Take charge of liaising with the BIM team to identify clashes with other trades during the drawing production process.
- Rigorously review, coordinate, and liaise with consultants and subcontractors to define architectural construction details and interfaces with structural and M&E services.
- Ensure unwavering compliance with construction drawings, project specifications, client requirements, and authorities' codes and standards.
- Verify site installations against approved shop drawings and assertively finalize as-built drawings.
- Meticulously review project specifications, seek immediate technical clarification, and proactively identify and address technical issues in construction drawings.
Qualification:
- The candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Building or Architecture from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in building projects, especially in RWDP systems, irrigation system, softscape works, and hardscape works.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore Building Codes and Regulations, including the Code on Accessibility in the Built Environment, Approved Document/Acceptable Solution, and Green Mark issued by BCA.
- A robust familiarity with local standard quality implementation, BCA CONQUAS, and other Quality Mark Assessments, as well as a strong grasp of safety aspects in the construction industry.
- Preferable hands-on experience in hospital/medical facility projects in Singapore.
- A strong preference for extensive knowledge of BIM software/Autodesk Revit.
