SEO Analyst

We are currently looking for an Associate Analyst to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for driving SEO for GroupM's key regional clients.

This role reports to: Sr. Manager, SEO

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

• Gain understanding of existing processes and tools to ensure successful delivery of client work.
• Develop an understanding of core SEO concepts and how they can be leveraged to improve client’s website performance.
• Become familiar with key clients in TH market in order to assist in development of project deliverables.

In six months:

• Ability to develop strategic guidance to clients which will have positive impacts on their digital market goals.
• Successful completion of industry certifications and demonstration of knowledge and concepts learned
• Build relationships with key stakeholders within the Agencies

In 12 months:

• Take ownership of existing SEO projects
• Retention and growth of Agency SEO business and contribute towards revenue targets

What your day job looks like at GroupM:

• Strategy and execution of SEO projects, commensurate with experience
• Translation/Localisation and quality assurance for APAC markets
• Diligently pursue all training and knowledge sharing to develop specialist SEO skills
• Keep abreast of current search engine optimization strategies and methods
• Liaise with clients, and agency account management teams to ensure campaigns are managed effectively
• Develop and improve SEO processes & procedures wherever possible

What you’ll bring:

• An interest in Internet/Digital Marketing
• A problem solver with a can-do attitude, motivated by a desire to innovate.
• Be a continuous learner and self-starter, capable of researching and assimilating new subjects quickly, in response to the changing nature of the digital landscape.
• Ability to present and articulate concepts to varied audiences
• Project management skills and cross-functional skills.
• Competent with Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• A supportive and proactive team player who’s also able to work independently.

This job will also require you to have the following technical skills:

• Adapt with XML markup and is comfortable working with shopping feeds – you should be able to review, troubleshoot and improvise on XML data files.
• Exhibit advanced grasp on JavaScript, CSS and HTML put together and their impact on page performance and content delivery.
• Adapt with API use and curious about data.
• Able to scrape and extract data from a dynamic webpage (loaded through JavaScript) and use it for analysis purpose.
• Well-experienced with Omniture/Google Analytics set-up and configuration.
• Able to write simple codes (or interested in research for codes) and work with tools like Google App Script and Google Colab.
