Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of the Instrument & Control ITP inspection and test in compliance with rules and Tai Power requirement.
- Ensuring that the deliverables from engineering, fabrication, and principal contractors are of the right quality, according to company and industry requirements
- Supporting engineering design review and provide feedback from basic design, details design up to shop drawings such as SCADA, CCTV, Helideck weather monitoring, ESD, telecommunication , F&G
- Interpreting, implementing, and documenting the overall control philosophy across the wind farm components
- Preparing Instrument & Control equipment technical spec and RFQ for supporting procurement team during quotation sourcing
- Participate in preparation and review of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) of the wind farm offshore substations (OSS) and commissioning procedure.
- Involving in EC/MC completion test package preparation to ensure construction completion handed over as per sequence and schedule
- Perform a daily supervision of the installation and commissioning
- Attending daily call out inspection and work closely with shipyard construction team, QA and commissioning team
- Involving in wind farm OSS final acceptance test / Proof Concept test procedure preparation.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for wind farm OSS equipment
- Involving in O&M procedure preparation and conducting OSS maintenance execution during operation.
- In association with the Maintenance Systems group, review and update the technical content of the preventive maintenance procedures and to recommend changes where improvements in safety, quality or economy may be effected
- Contributing to the continuous development of new technologies to improve the performance and usability of our wind farm control systems
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Electronics/Instrumentation/Communication Engineering
- Knowledge in SCAD, PLA or DCS control system
- Problem solver, attention to details,
- Ability to analyze information and data objectively and logically
- Ability to apply creative thinking and problem-solving skills to complex challenges
- Ability to evaluate the reliability and validity of sources and evidence
- Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with diverse audiences
- Ability to identify and anticipate potential risks and opportunities
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in English and ability to converse in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates
