Overview:
Oversee the Electrical Engineering team, ensuring that all project needs are met within the stipulated timeline, budget, and quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in electrical and electronics engineering and strong leadership skills to manage and develop the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers and designers, ensuring effective workload scheduling and team development.
- Collaborate with project managers to define work packages, scope, efforts, and project durations.
- Provide technical guidance and program-level support to the team, including execution strategies.
- Conduct design reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Align and harmonize process and milestone deliverables for the EE discipline.
- Ensure design verifications and validations are performed with the support of relevant system/subsystem engineers.
- Balance project goals and considerations, making necessary compromises between timeline, quality, and budget.
- Ensure timely completion of the team’s deliverables for each work package, project milestones, and tender proposals, adhering to budget constraints.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for efficient planning and execution.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading a team of 3-5 engineers.
- Strong coordination, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Technical expertise in working with electrical, mechanical, and software architecture.
- Knowledge of basic microcontroller programming, PCB design, PLC, power electronics, wireless communication, motors, and actuators.
