Responsibilities
• Design, plan and implement network infrastructure to meet the organization's business needs
• Install, configure and maintain servers, storage devices, and other hardware and software systems
• Manage the organization's backup and disaster recovery systems and procedures
• Monitor and maintain network performance and security, including firewalls, switches, routers etc.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for IT infrastructure, such as OSPAR
• Manage the deployment and maintenance of virtualization and cloud technologies, such as VMware, Azure etc.
• Work with vendors and IT team to resolve complex issues and implement new solutions
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the reliability and security of the IT infrastructure
• Train and mentor IT staff and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in IT with proven experience in IT infrastructure management and engineering
• Strong knowledge of Network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and switches
• Proficiency in server and storage hardware, including Dell, HP
• Knowledge of Virtualization and Cloud technologies, such as VMware, AWS, and Azure
• Possess relevant certification such as CCNP
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery systems and procedures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with ITIL and Agile methodologies is a plus.
