We are seeking a highly motivated and aspiring individual to join our team as a Legal Counsel. This role will focus on providing essential legal and compliance support to GoNetZero™, particularly as we expand our operations into new markets, such as the European market.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver legal and compliance services in alignment with corporate goals and strategies.
- Provide legal support and advice to internal stakeholders and senior management on various legal and compliance matters.
- Draft, review, and assist in negotiating commercial agreements, including sales and purchase agreements for Environmental Attributes (EA), Software as a Service (SaaS) agreements, licensing agreements, and project consultancy agreements.
- Review and offer recommendations on legal aspects related to existing commercial relationships, addressing pre-litigation disputes, and handling inquiries.
- Assist in the implementation of company policies, procedures, and standards related to legal and compliance matters.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and actively manage regulatory developments and compliance updates.
- Provide timely support on legal and compliance inquiries across operational aspects.
- Contribute to and support other projects and tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Possess a Law degree from Singapore, Australia or UK with at least 5 years of post-qualification legal experience.
- Exposure to the tech sector or EA trading would be beneficial.

- Detail-oriented, strategic-minded, and capable of handling multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
- Articulate, with good drafting skills and proficiency in English.
