Responsibilities:
- Working closely with new & used car divisions
- Assessing the condition of used vehicles, making adjustments to Central Quotation (CQ) quotes which are subject to viewing, with their appraisal, following the check list and company guidelines
- Working with Purchaser - CQ to assess and ascertain accurate valuation of quoted cars, for internal (trade-in) and external (DEP) prospects
- Make adjustments to used car buy-in prices as instructed by Purchasing & Projects Manager and / or Head of Purchasing.
- Ensure proper evaluation and appraisal procedure is carried out, including timely submission of paperwork
- Ensure necessary vehicle information is captured in systems (eg Moby Purchase, iQuotes) such as condition and items.
- Seek out used vehicle purchase opportunities externally (“Hunter” for purchase opportunities) by recommending reasonable purchase price to Central Quotation for quote request.
- Performs the role of liaison with customers seeking to sell their vehicle directly to SDAS during the sales and enquiry process.
- Engage Purchasing & Projects Manager/Head of Purchasing for price quotation reviews and coaching sessions
- Ensure proper handover of used car.
- Averagely 15 – 20 mins / per appraisal.
Requirements:
- Tertiary education or equivalentAt least 1-2 years of sales and / or purchasing experience in automotive
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence
- Proficient in Product knowledge / perform accurate appraisal
- Basic knowledge of cars
- Excellent communication skills
