Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features using React.js.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Maintain existing codebases, including troubleshooting bugs and adding new features.
- Refactor code to improve its structure and performance.
- Ensure code quality by writing unit tests and conducting code reviews.
- Communicate effectively with team members to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to improve the usability of the application.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React.js.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining complex web applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or Flux).
- Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript.
- Knowledge of data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
- Experience with Typescript.
- Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) and Next.js framework.
- Experience with mobile development using React Native.
- Understanding of GraphQL and Apollo Client.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Enzyme.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and practices.
