GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Front End Developer will be part of the global Software Solutions team within Markets Technology based in Singapore. He/she shall ensure active risk management and meet all regulatory and internal compliance expectations relating to the role.
The incumbent will work with team members based in both Singapore and Zurich to help maintain the current trading platform and have the opportunity to improve and create new libraries and frameworks upon which our trading platform is based. Working in an agile environment and interacting with traders, business owners and other stakeholders he/she will capture new requirement, design and implement innovative solutions. As part of the global team and working on global applications, the incumbent will also provide first class support to the business and other stakeholders when called on.

- Work to fulfil the ambitions of the team defined by Head of Software Solutions/Modern Markets Applications C# 1.
- Actively participate and support the head of the team to regularly review and improve team practices to optimise efficiency and productivity.
- Continuously drive and improve systems
- Continuously drive, improve and develop new interfaces between various systems, e.g trading systems/tools to downstream systems, Middle and Back Office, document generations
- Automate business processes for derivatives and structured products.
- Drive efforts to add new tests, remove antiquated tests, and aggregate tests to improve the test suite.
Stakeholder Management
- Effective and progressive management of all stakeholders and users of applications supported by the team.
- Solicit and discuss requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders through the various channels used by the team.
Change Management
- Actively participate and support Program Increment (PI) planning process within Markets
- Support change management and release rollout planning
- Provide dedicated post implementation support locally in Asia

Professional and Technical
- Relevant higher educational and professional background with more than 10 years of experience in software development of which ideally more than 5 years as a front end developer
- The incumbent is a Reactive Extension (RX) Guru and can Lead other developers to extend and use our existing libraries
- Strong programing skills in .NET, C#, WPF, RX, Elastic Search, RabbitMq, MongoDb, MS-SQL, JSON
- Familiar with the ELK Stack and know how to aggregate data from multiple sources into elastic indexes
- Good experience and have an interest in financial services, specifically in structured products and the derivatives domain (FX and Equities)
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
