Payroll Manager | Kaki Bukit | 5 days | Up to $5,500

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and supervise payroll staff.
  • Stay updated and understand new legislation impacting payroll.
  • Handle full scope of payroll activities for over 700 employees, including monthly payroll and overtime processing, bonuses, bank uploads, CPF submissions, IR21, and IR8A submissions.
  • Resolve any payroll errors efficiently.
  • Ensure payroll is completed accurately and timely.
  • Prepare monthly payroll-related journal entries, reports, and salary reconciliations.
  • Generate weekly, quarterly, and monthly payroll reports.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with local statutory guidelines and company policies.
  • Timely submission of IR8A, IR21 tax clearance, government-paid claims, NS make-up claims, etc.
  • Prepare payroll information and templates for annual budgeting and forecasting.
  • Participate in reviewing, testing, and implementing HRIS upgrades, integration, and process improvement projects.
  • Direct payroll team's workload to meet deadlines.
  • Adhere to and review company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Assist in coordinating the annual increment/bonus exercise.
  • Coordinate with HR to verify payroll information.
  • Provide payroll-related advice and support to employees.
  • Review payroll policies and amend procedures when necessary.
  • Oversee the preparation of payroll-related documents.
  • Organize current employee data systems.
  • Maintain payroll information and records in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll.
  • Assist in auditor queries, forms, and government surveys related to payroll.
  • Performance management of payroll staff for growth within the team.
  • Undertake other tasks assigned by HOD whenever required.

Job Specifications:

  • Diploma/Degree holders with 5 years of payroll experience.
  • Strong knowledge in managing payroll processes.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to delegate effectively.
  • Superior leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills with all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Timesoft.
  • Highly motivated, meticulous, team player, organized, and takes initiative.
  • Accurate documenting skills and attention to detail.
