The Complex Systems Science group at NTU’s School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences invites applications for the position of Research Fellow (Modelling and Simulation).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development related to Mathematical Sciences, AI and Computer Science
- Collect relevant dataset, and conduct experiments to gain insights on project-related research questions
- Presenting research results to collaborators at scientific meetings or producing reports/ publications
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Mathematical Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Control Theory, ECE, Computer Science or related disciplines
- Strong background in Control Theory, AI, deep learning, and data analytics
- Experience with multimodal data integration and analysis
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or R
- Experience with signal processing and statistical analysis
- Strong publication record
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration and dissemination of research findings
- Good spoken and written English - essential for data analysis and communication with various stakeholders
- Strong leadership quality
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in teams
