Job Responsibilities
Provide direction in the implementation and on-going maintenance of the Group Operational Risk Management framework
- Production and analysis of Group Operational Risk Management meeting materials
- Guide & train business units in the adoption of operational risk tools
- Support in the consolidation, analysis and reporting of all operational risk matters to senior management and relevant committees
- Provide guidance in reviewing operational incidents, provide challenge and support business units in operational risk issues
- Support in the review of policies and procedures submitted by all business units
- Support in the provision of coordination and liaison to facilitate reporting to shareholders
- Support in the implementation of the Group Credit and Counterparty risk framework
- Support the production and analysis of regular market and credit risk reports
- Support in the preparation and assessment of New Product & Businesses papers
- Review of new policy & procedure paper
- Support in the development of Enterprise Risk Management framework
- Support in the implementation of an effective BCM framework
Job Requirements
- A graduate in a quantitative, business, finance, or economics field.
- At least 10 years in operational risk areas within the financial industry
- Strong ability in English.
- Experience with relevant risk management frameworks in securities markets
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player, methodical and able to multitask
- Ability to learn quickly on the job
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work with various stakeholders to create buy-in, as well as to challenge existing practices to initiate improvements.
