JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Electronic Engineer, you will be primarily tasked with designing, developing, and implementing electronic systems and devices. Your pivotal role will encompass contributing to the design and manufacturing phases of diverse electronic products, with a focus on adhering to performance, quality, and safety benchmarks. Your specialized knowledge will be instrumental in crafting inventive solutions and enhancing the efficiency and reliability of existing electronic systems.
JOB SCOPE
- Electronic Circuit Design: Develop and engineer electronic circuits, components, and systems tailored to diverse applications. Tasks include schematic design, PCB layout, and meticulous component selection.
- Prototype Development and Testing: Construct and rigorously test prototypes of electronic systems to validate designs and pinpoint any potential issues. Execute comprehensive testing and debugging procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Cross-Functional Product Development: Engage in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and mechanical engineers, to orchestrate the development of comprehensive electronic products or systems.
- Quality Assurance Oversight: Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety protocols in electronic design endeavors. Conduct meticulous testing and analysis to uphold the production of high-quality and dependable products.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical challenges pertaining to existing electronic systems, addressing any operational malfunctions or performance discrepancies.
- Research and Innovation Initiative: Remain abreast of the latest advancements in electronic engineering, emerging technologies, and industry trends. Champion innovative ideas aimed at enhancing product performance and design.
- Thorough Documentation: Generate comprehensive technical documentation, encompassing design specifications, test reports, and user manuals, to facilitate clarity and comprehension.
- Collaborative Integration: Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electronics into overarching systems or products.
- Manufacturing Support and Oversight: Offer assistance during the manufacturing phase, aiding in product assembly, testing, and quality assurance procedures to maintain consistency and excellence in production.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Major in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, or related field with 3 years experience; entry level/junior engineer or fresh graduate are encouraged to apply too.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills, autonomy, and resourcefulness, as well as proficient in planning and scheduling tasks effectively.
- Exhibit a robust grasp of object-oriented programming principles using microcontroller, Arduino, etc
- Strong knowledge and hand-on in various electronic design and architecture: power supply, lamp driver, motor driver, electrical auto switch, lamp dimmer, etc.
- Possesses skills in designing PCB using TinyCAD, TinkerCAD, EasyEDA, Altium, Eagle, etc.
- Proficient in C# or C++, Python, etc with a comprehensive understanding of their respective ecosystems and applications, and knack for writing a clean, structured, readable codes.
- Knowledgeable in Windows Presentation Framework.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications.
- Experience/knowledge in image processing modules/sub-systems and motorized/robotics modules/sub-systems will be advantageous.
- Understanding on international standards related to electrical system and electronics will be advantageous.
