Responsibility:
The Medical Records Clerk is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely retrieval of patients' existing medical records upon request, ensure completeness of hardcopy case notes prior to digitalizing, archiving, storage and timely digitalization of hardcopy case notes into EMR.
Job Scope:
- Oversees the smooth flow, confidentiality and maintain quality filing of case notes in Medical Records Office.
- Ensure proper storage and traceability of case notes in Medical Records Office.
- Retrieves case notes as required by requestors for various purpose and coordinates delivery/collection of case notes with requestors.
- Scan or tax requested documents to requestors and ensure all case notes are clerked and filled according to HIMS' policy.
- Tracks and documents irregularities in filing of case notes.
- Ensure all case notes are digitalized, stored at the designated storage company after coding, clerking and digitalization process.
- Maintains system in the storage of compact discs for scanned images.
Job Requirements:
- O-level or equivalent
- Experience in filling is essential
- Experience in EMR is preferred
- Microsoft Office
- 5 days work week
- Monday to Thursday : 8:00am to 5:30pm
- Friday : 8:00am to 5:00pm
