Job Summary:
The Vice Principal (Admin) reports to the Principal and is a key member of the senior management team in the school. He/She will oversee all non-curriculum areas and help drive strategic planning and ensure efficient management of resources to support the delivery of holistic education. He/She will also provide leadership to a team of corporate executives and support staff to achieve excellence in school administration and operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Vice Principal (Admin) will assist the Principal in the following key areas:
- Undertake strategic planning and resource management functions and develop and implement systems for effective school organisation and administration
- Oversee the management of human resource, finance, estate, logistical and general administration matters in school
- Establish knowledge management structures and system within the school to enhance collaboration and align processes within the school
- Drive service excellence initiatives and enhance quality of service delivery to stakeholders, including ensuring business continuity during sudden or gradual disruptions
- Oversee the communication and publicity plan in the school and management of public feedback
- Plan and drive the implementation of physical and IT infrastructure improvement works and projects including the oversight of the school’s student management system
- Ensure the implementation of appropriate security measures
- Oversee the workplace safety and health of staff and school partners
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal
Requirement
- Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a work setting
- Strong leadership qualities with strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge in the areas of Human Resource or Finance is advantageous but not necessary
