Corporate In- house Travel Agent

This role will be responsible for assisting Corporate clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements. You will provide expert advice, excellent customer service, and personalized recommendations to ensure that each client's travel experience exceeds their expectations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for travel.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and requirements. Offer personalized recommendations and tailor-made itineraries to suit their needs.
  2. Booking Arrangements: Coordinate flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and other travel services for clients. Utilize booking systems and resources to secure the best deals and options available.
  3. Destination Knowledge: Stay informed about travel trends, destinations, visa requirements, and travel advisories. Provide accurate information and expert advice to clients to ensure a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.
  4. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the booking process and beyond. Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty.
  5. Sales and Revenue Generation: Meet sales targets and contribute to the agency's revenue growth by promoting travel packages, upgrades, and additional services. Upsell relevant products and offerings to enhance the client's travel experience. (helpful but not required for this role)
  6. Documentation and Administration: Prepare and manage travel documents, including tickets, itineraries, visas, and insurance policies. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  7. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel suppliers, and industry contacts. Collaborate with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and secure exclusive deals for our clients.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a personal or executive assistant or in a similar role within the travel industry and hospitality.
  • Proficiency in travel booking systems and software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Passion for travel and a desire to create memorable experiences for clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of foreign languages and cultural diversity is an advantage.
