Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
In this role, you will:
- Play a key role in our financial health: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, ensuring a clear picture of the hotel's performance.
- Maintain meticulous records: Keep all ledgers, journals, and other accounting records up-to-date and organized for easy access and analysis.
- Reconcile with confidence: Ensure accuracy by preparing and submitting bank reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and GST (Goods and Services Tax) reports.
- Support a smooth month-end close: Process monthly journals promptly, ensuring all entries are properly documented and approved.
- Bridge the gap: Liaise with various departments to address accounting issues and ensure smooth collaboration.
- Embrace external scrutiny: Assist with the annual financial audit by providing information and support to external auditors.
- Be a team player: Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, taking on additional tasks as assigned by the Financial Controller/Assistant Financial Controller.
To be successful, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel accounting
- Proven ability to maintain accurate and detailed financial records
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A meticulous and organized work style
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with hotel accounting principles and GST regulations (a plus)
