Leading a team of engineers (Systems, Network, Database, Security, EUC, Devops) to fulfill the following duties:
- Ensure of Service Request are implemented according to SLAs and of good quality.
- Ensure Change Management best practices are performed.
- Ensure that Incident SLAs are adhere to and that critical Incidents do not recur with proper Problem Management best practices.
- Ensure projects are implemented on a timely basis.
- Provide support for Audits and ensure findings are remediated within timelines.
- Ensure VAPT are conducted on a yearly basis and ensure findings are remediated within timelines.
- Maintain the Disaster Recovery (DR) environment and ensure that DR exercises are conducted on a yearly basis and post-DR exercise learnings are implemented.
- Implement and maintain backup best practices.
- Maintain, implement, and enforce security best practices. Maintain security tools.
- Ensure patching are performed for related hardware and software components on a regular basis.
- Manage Tech Obsolescence and plan for technology refresh on a timely basis.
- Maintain and review document (e.g network diagram, server diagram, etc) on a regular basis.
- Management of datacentre assets as well as assets on the public cloud
- Perform regular periodic reviews .
- Ensure policies and procedures are enforced and updated.
- Ensure support contracts are renewed on a timely basis including SSLs and Domain Renewals.
- Ensure that certifications are maintained and renewed successfully eg (ISO27001, Cyber Trust Mark, etc).
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Computer Studies or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of IT related experience in infrastructure and operations within which at least more than 5 years of leading a team.
- Strong familiarity with systems, network, database, security and EUC domains.
- Understanding of Devops functions.
- Working knowledge of cloud services. Knowledge on GCP and OCI will be an additional advantage.
- ITIL certification is a must. Other related certifications good to have.
- Experience in GCP and Hybrid (On-premises & Cloud) architectural environment.
- Proven knowledge of cybersecurity, infrastructure and cloud designs .
- Have good experience and proven track records in project management, stakeholder management and vendor management.
- Strong leadership, people management skills, excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
