Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Release Train Engineer (RTE) with extensive experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices, particularly within SAP and Salesforce environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing complex system implementations, managing cross-functional teams, and driving process transformations. This role demands strong communication skills, the ability to navigate challenging environments, and a keen understanding of API integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination and execution of Agile release trains for SAP and Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Facilitate and drive Agile ceremonies such as PI planning, scrum ceremonies, and retrospective meetings to foster collaboration and efficiency.
- Manage dependencies and risks across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth integration and deployment of releases.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other RTEs to optimize the overall program and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Utilize expertise in process transformation to enhance Agile practices and improve team performance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting on release progress, metrics, and impediments.
Qualifications:
- RTE Certified with strong proficiency in Scrum methodologies.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in software development, with a focus on SAP and Salesforce implementations.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and initiatives, preferably in chemical, oil, gas, mining, or trading settlements industries.
- Hands-on experience in API integrations and understanding of enterprise-level applications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across teams.
- Prior experience in managing people and teams as part of RTE responsibilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to hybrid working arrangements and international collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in system implementations for settlements and OTC (Over-the-Counter) trading platforms.
- Able to run cadence meetings well
