We are a Chinese Buddhist Temple located in the heart of Singapore, seeking a candidate who enjoys interacting with customers to join our team as a Customer Services Officer.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Interaction:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Telemarket our product and services to current and new customers
- Provide accurate information about products and services.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues, escalating to the appropriate department when necessary.
2. Problem Resolution:
- Diagnose and resolve service-related issues.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are fully resolved and they are satisfied with the service.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
4. Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and service offerings.
- Provide customers with information about new products, services, and promotions.
5. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, technical support, and logistics) to resolve customer issues.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve service delivery.
Ad-hoc work duties/assignments as required, flexible in terms of work assignments by the superior.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent,
- Proven experience in a customer service role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability resolve to customer needs.
- Ability to handle difficult customers with professionalism and patience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in [Familiar with Buddhist Ceremony / Event will be advantage]
- Bilingual abilities
- Able to type Chinese Characters using Hanyu Pinyin (in order to responds to Chinese speaking customer enquiries through emails and online system.).
- Candidates with Chinese and Mandarin proficiency are advantageous (as candidates need to liaise and handle Chinese speaking old-folks).
- Familiarity with [Microsoft D365].
Working Conditions:
- Working in a Temple Environment.
- 8.00am to 5.00pm
- Must work on rotating shift & weekends/ Public Holidays (5 days work week)
- Must work on Chinese New Year (初一初二)
