Royal Ocean Marine, a reputable consultant firm based in Singapore, is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client team as a Derivatives Futures Operations specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of derivatives futures trading to ensure smooth and efficient execution of trades /broker and settlements.
You will work closely with traders, brokers, and clearing houses to reconcile positions, handle trade confirmations, monitor margin requirements, and ensure compliance with regulatory and exchange rules. You will also participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the operational aspects of derivatives futures trading
- Ensure accurate and timely trade confirmations and settlements
- Reconcile positions with clearing houses and resolve any discrepancies
- Monitor margin requirements and collateral management
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and exchange rules and regulations
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support trading activities
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
- Prior experience in derivatives futures operations or a similar role
- Strong understanding of derivatives markets and trading processes
- Knowledge of regulatory and exchange rules and regulations
- Proficiency in using trading platforms and industry-specific software
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
