Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly known as Navision) and SQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by analysing, designing, and implementing effective systems and processes. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SQL, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for system enhancements or new implementations.
2. System Analysis: Evaluate existing business processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimization, with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
3. System Design: Develop detailed system specifications, workflows, and data models to support business objectives and requirements.
4. Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics NAV to align with business needs, ensuring data integrity and efficient system operation.
5. Data Management: Utilize SQL to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data, perform data analysis, and ensure data quality and consistency.
6. Testing: Develop test plans, conduct system testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
8. Training: Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on system functionality and best practices.
9. Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve system-related issues and troubleshoot technical problems in a timely manner.
10. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SQL, and recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
11. Project Management: Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful delivery of technology projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SQL.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, including configuration, customization, and integration capabilities.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, querying, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics NAV or SQL are advantageous.
