Our new cafe, Community Brew, is looking for an excellent Coffee Barista to join the team in operating its new coffee cafe at Bukit Canberra. A halal establishment, we are food and beverage focused, offering brunch, all day daily fix, specialty coffee and gourmet ice cream.
The candidate will report to and work closely with the Director to provide excellent operations and services level of the ground staff. Our company treasures talents by offering good career enhancement.

Responsibilities
· Menu engineering and creation
· Provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences
· Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment effectively
· Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cafe, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
· Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
· Uphold high standards of quality and consistency in beverage preparation
· Work objectively towards department and personal KPI
· Carry out ad hoc duties as per management’s instruction.Contribute ideas and assist Marketing Department with A&P
· Stay updated on coffee trends and product knowledge
· Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
· Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role
· Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques
· Excellent customer service skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Strong attention to detail
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Basic math skills for handling transactions
· Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
· A passion for coffee and a desire to create a positive customer experience
