Strict Requirement: Must have hands-on experience with Selenium or Appium in the banking industry
Key Accountabilities
- Test Scenario Management:Design, develop, execute, and maintain test scenarios and detailed end-to-end test cases for digital platform user acceptance testing (UAT).
Write test cases in JBehave for agile projects.
Develop and maintain automated checks in collaboration with development teams.
- Testing Tools Expertise:Use tools like JIRA and Confluence to execute and maintain project status.
Perform web and mobile application testing in the banking domain with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
- Defect Management:Detect, report, and track defects using application tools, collaborating with stakeholders for resolution.
Log defects, follow up for timely closure, and generate testing reports.
- Requirement Analysis:Analyze BDD/user stories from Product Owners (POs) and develop high-level test scenarios to meet user requirements.
- Documentation and Collaboration:Write test plans and summaries, documenting end-to-end test scenarios with detailed steps.
Actively participate in project meetings and discussions.
Maintain project documentation and update changes promptly.
Required Experience
- Banking Industry Testing: At least 2 years of experience in web and mobile application testing within the banking industry.
- Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of Appium, Selenium, and JUNIT.
Proficient in coding with Java, Objective-C, JavaScript, or similar languages.
Experience developing complex SQL queries.
Knowledge of SOAP UI and web service testing.
Familiarity with basic UNIX commands and working with Linux environments.
Proficient in GIT commands and usage.
Experience with technologies like Cucumber, Appium, Selenium, XCode UI Automation, Espresso.
Hands-on experience with SOAP UI and REST API.
- Additional Skills:Working knowledge of Bitbucket (or similar version control systems).
Keen focus on quality output during the user acceptance stage of software development.
