Responsibilities
- Handles all correspondence and organises contacts between the catering sales team and their customers
- Ensures telephone calls are manned and attended to promptly
- Responds promptly to emails and phone requests for information or quotes
- Data entry tasks for the sales team – maintaining and updating customer records
- Maintains updates on corporate and wedding package
- Prepares proposals and agreements for customers
- Assists with production reports or any relevant reports for Director of Catering Sales and Director of Sales & Marketing
- Assists with coordinating with Room Controller with showroom keys and familiarisation trips, site inspections at the hotel level when required
- Coordinating with the Banquet Service team as well as the Banquet Kitchen team on event actualization such as confirmation of floor plans, menu finalization etc.
- Conducts telesales activities at the direction of the Director of Catering Sales and Director of Sales & Marketing
Requirements
- Pleasant personality with good customer service skills
- Good organisational, planning and coordination skills
- Team player and able to work with deadlines
- Good spoken and written skills in English
- Flexibility to work beyond office hours
- Ability to manage stress, work in a fast paced and dynamic organisation
- Microsoft office skills and Excel
