We help brands to navigate the complex web of the gaming ecosystem with industry expertise and creative solutions. Our core services include Education & Training, Strategy Building, Creative Ideation & Execution of winning gaming activations.


Launched in 2024, we are a new gaming consultancy on the scene in Asia Pacific yet already on a fast growth trajectory. Aside from our working with brands & agencies we have secured a teaching program at SMU Academy.


About the Role:


Playbook XP is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Account Executive to join our team. You will work with brands & agencies, our vendors & partners, as well as internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards. You will have the ability to successfully manage multi format projects - from digital & offline marketing campaigns through to educational workshops & game development.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who enjoys working as part of a small, agile team, on multiple projects in tandem and is passionate about elevating their experience working in the gaming and esports industry.


About the Responsibilities:


As the Playbook XP Senior Account Executive, you will support with the existing and new business opportunities and become an integral part of shaping our company’s growth. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Control the Briefs: Understand the project brief and ensure everyone involved understands the briefs.
  • End-to-end account management: Oversee all aspects of project management, including scoping of talent, vendors & partners, managing day-to-day client communication, progress monitoring, quality control, issue resolution, and performance evaluation reporting.
  • Collaboration & Communication: communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders and collaborators on all projects & campaigns, ensuring that operational plans, deliverables and issues and risks are properly addressed
  • Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong networks across the gaming, esports and entertainment industry to facilitate effective collaboration and successful implementation of projects & campaigns. Manage contract negotiations as required.
  • Project Performance Reporting: monitoring and data analysis of project and campaign performance. Creation & delivery of reports.
  • Trend Monitoring and Reporting: Through desk research stay informed about trends and developments in the gaming & esports ecosystem and deliver updates to the management team.
  • Creative Ideation: Contribute to the ideation of forward-thinking marketing campaigns that have the ability to drive buzz & virality.

Location: Virtual/From home, Based in Singapore only


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in Account Management in agency (media or advertising) or tech industry.
  • Existing knowledge with a genuine passion for all things video gaming & esports.
  • Is engaged and eager to apply this to marketing campaigns or events
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to solve problems
  • Able to manage time effectively
  • Mature attitude and willingness to learn
  • Team player mentality but also ability to work independently.
  • Excellent conversational and written abilities in English.
  • Comfortable with data, research and statistics.
  • Confident with Google Suites (Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Docs etc)
