Employment Term: 2 years contract (subjected to extension)
Work Location: Sengkang
To supervise electrical & signaling installation, testing and commissioning works allocated by site supervisor and construction manager for SPLRT Ph3 Project.
Assist Supervision of Electrical and Signalling site works
· Assist and Support the site supervisor and construction manager in all aspects of works, including:
o Reviewing electrical and signalling system drawings and specifications
o Planning and scheduling work
o Assigning work to sub-contractors and overseeing their work.
Major work is power/control/Signal/FO cabling, equipment installation, testing and commissioning associated with LRT project.
o Ensuring compliance with standards, codes, and safety regulations.
o Troubleshooting electrical problems.
o Developing reports and records
o Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
· Perform routine tasks, such as:
o Conducting pre-task Toolbox Meeting/ Safety briefings.
o Issuing work permits.
o Arranging LOTO
o Assisting QA/QC works
o Assisting testing and commissioning works
o Arranging materials and equipment.
o Arranging special tools etc
· Communicating effectively with the electrical site supervisor, project manager, other subcontractors, and inspectors.
· Communicating with various stake holders e.g. other contractors (System Wide Contractors), SBST, LTA.
· Any other ad-hoc works assigned by project manager and construction manager.
Requirements
· Diploma or ITE in Electrical and Electronics
· Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience at complex project site.
· LRT/MRT E&M project experience is added advantage.
· Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
· Ability to work as a team with motivation, technical knowledge required for material controlling
· Proven ability to consistently get results and achieve time-sensitive goals
· Strong commitment to the job
· Ability to flexibly adapt to change and challenges, ability to work calmly under pressure and exercise good judgment.
· Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with multiple stakeholders including superiors, colleagues, contracted staff, and individuals both inside and outside the organization.
· Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Able to operate computer programs under Windows such as: MS Office.
