Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution / Postgraduate qualifications such as MMed (Family Medicine) or equivalent are preferred.
- Full registration with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) for at least5 years.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and routine screenings.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and ensure continuity of care.
- Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and other treatments.
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic diseases.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, specialists, and facilities as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with Singapore’s legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with medical advancements.
- Collaborate with medical staff and administrative teams to ensure efficient practice operations.
- Provide patient and family-centered care with respect, compassion, and professionalism.
