Introduction:
As Agile Coach, you will be reporting to Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) Manager and your role is to enable cross-functional teams to develop medium-to-complex business/customer/employee solutions using the Agile way of working that integrates the business and technical needs. You will coach the stakeholders in effective Agile practices, lead and/or facilitate Scrum and/or other Agile practices. Remove and escalate impediments and shield the team from external distractions.
Your Job:
- Guide the team and organization on how to use agile methodologies and practices (i.e., scrum, & etc.)
- Oversee scrum process and coach the team; facilitate transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
- Lead daily scrum, spring review, and planning meetings in a way that ensures full team engagement.
- Support Journey Owner and team in backlog grooming and release planning.
- Remove impediments (e.g., cultural barriers, logistic challenges, coordination w/ other teams)
- Foster close cooperation across all team members, encourage cross training and supporting each other.
- Create and maintain appropriate channels for open communication within the agile team (e.g., tracker boards, JIRA) to create a trusting and safe team environment.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration inside and outside the team.
- Facilitate discussions leading to collective decision-marking, goal setting and conflict resolution within the team.
- Shield the team from external interference and ensure the team is fully functional and productive.
- Foster self-organization and growth within the team.
- Continuously seek to improve team performance by promoting joint accountability for results and solving productivity issues.
- Generate Agile mindset in digital factory teams through conversation, coaching, and role playing.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where can be raised without fear of punishment.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of punishment.
- Collectively with the product owns creation and prioritization of the digital product backlog; and assists Product Owners to shape the digital product roadmap and vision.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, statistics, or related fields
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile Development with specific Scrum Master (or similar) experience.
- Knowledge and/or experience of Agile software development process (e.g., XP, Kanban, Scrum, etc).
- Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques; User stories, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Paired Programming, Automated Testing, and Agile Games.
- At least 1 successfully delivered project using Scrum methodology in the role as Scrum Master.
- At least 3 successfully delivered technical projects with experience in software development and/or project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMI-ACP Agile Certified Practitioner or Certified Scrum Master is a plus.
