Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our young students. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children between the ages of 3 and 4 and a strong understanding of early childhood development.
Key Responsibilities:
Preschool Teacher
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum that align with the school's philosophy and goals
- Create a safe, caring, and engaging learning environment for young children
- Observe and assess children's progress and development, and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers
- Manage the classroom and ensure that all children are supervised at all times
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a positive and cohesive school culture
- Attend regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education
- Support children's social and emotional development by modeling positive behaviors and fostering positive relationships
- Use positive discipline techniques and strategies to manage behavior and promote a positive classroom environment
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration
Translator
- Provides Mandarin- English translations for official documents and teaching materials.
- Maintain appropriate level of confidentiality for both written & verbal communications.
- Responsible for working closely with Operation Team to translate all the conversation and data from Mandarin to English & vice versa.
- Translating all text from Mandarin to English and vice versa.
- Able to connect with the clients and interpret their conversation from one language to another.
- Good with proof reading, editing and copywriting.
- Assist with other Ad-hoc duties.
Qualifications:
- Minimumlly Diploma in early childhood education, child development, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Experience with curriculum planning and implementation
- Ability to create a safe and nurturing learning environment for young children
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
