Position Overview:
As the Retail Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our multi-brand athleisure store. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service experiences. Additionally, you will lead a team of passionate sales associates, fostering a positive work environment and nurturing a sense of community within and beyond the store. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example by delivering outstanding customer service and promoting a positive shopping experience for every customer.
- Manage day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising to ensure the store is consistently well-presented.
- Drive sales through adequate product knowledge, sales techniques, and promotional strategies.
- Recruit, train, and motivate a team of sales associates, setting clear expectations and providing ongoing coaching and development.
- Foster a spirit of community within the store by organising events, workshops, and activities that engage customers and promote brand loyalty.
- Develop strong connections with customers to generate loyal customers and repeat transactions.
- Analyse sales reports and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and brand representatives to enhance the store's reputation and drive repeat business.
- Proactively follow up on customer queries and needs at the physical store and across all digital platforms.
- Act as the store’s brand ambassador.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the fashion or athleisure industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for athleisure fashion and a good understanding of current trends in the industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and public holidays, as required.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other retail software.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
- Passion for customer service and relations.
- Keen interest in fashion and sports.
