The IT Officer maintains the Company’s ICT (Information Communication Technology) infrastructure and provides ICT support to ensure business continuity. The IT Officer is responsible for installing and configuring computer system, diagnoses hardware and software fault, solve technical and applications problems, and in-charge of the maintenance of the Company ERP system.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system and maintain updated inventory of Company’s technology hardware, software and resources.
- Set-up and maintain Company E-Library, Website and CCTV configuration, VOIP.
- Installation of staff work stations which includes establishing, allocating and maintaining network accounts and password.
- Manage and prepare ERP and BIM manual.
- Backup Company files and update of IT server.
- Programming of ERP reports.
- Provide recommendations about accessing information and support.
- Conduct internal ICT training for new and existing staff.
- Liaison with ICT vendor and do ICT budget control
- Carry out monitoring, endorsement and implementation works such as monitor the renewal of software licenses, monitor security breach and recommend solution, make recommendation on ICT resources and set-up site ICT infrastructure.
- Updating management on latest ICT development and carry out semi-annual ICT audit.
- Perform other duties assigned by Office Manager and Management
