Compliance Manager: The job role of the Compliance Manager is as under:
- Keeping abreast with changes to regulatory requirements for AML/CFT and communicating the changes internally with a view to ensuring established policies, procedures and processes are in compliance with new requirements.
- Assist in consultative matters of AML/CFT with respect to MAS consultative papers, MAS surveys, notices and other regulations.
- Providing second level of review check for Compliance Department policies like AML CFT, PDPA, Compliance policy Complaint Policy and whistle blowing policy
- Providing second level of review check of Business Departments policies (Non exhaustive)
- Providing second level of review check of CRS/FATCA return to Tax authorities in co-ordination with Deposit Department.
- Updating of Country and Tax Risk Rating as per FATF, CPI and OECD and disseminate the changes to business units.
- Review of new customers for on boarding for deposit customers.
- Review of unblocking of customer’s accounts once account is CDD complied
- Review of periodically existing Deposit customers
- Maintaining of Regulatory Obligation Register and KYC Registry
- To review daily reports and monthly Reports for post transaction monitoring.
- Checking on monthly and quarterly testing Deliverables
- All Head office submission of reply pertaining to Compliance department.
- Review of transaction escalation matrix
- Coordinating Compliance committee meeting every month and preparation of agenda and minutes.
- Validation of all regulatory reports of the branch.
- Escalating issues identified processes and providing practical solutions to the businesses
- Liaise with internal auditors to ensure all observations are rectify.
- Transaction monitoring. Identify, investigate and document reports of unusual and suspicious transactions. Escalate any unusual and suspicious to department head.
- Participate in any ad-hoc related projects and to provide assistance in the preparation of audit deliverables.
