Work Hours: Mon to Fri , 8.30am to 5.30pm
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operation activities in workshop and customer service
- Ensure the performance and reliability of client's fleet of AGVs
- Respond and provide technical guidance to customers regarding operational issues, software updates, general maintenance etc
- Ensure accountability and integrity operational readiness of workshop
- Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure the workshop is effectively maintained to ensure maximum efficiency
- Ensure staff are appropriately trained and motivated to carry out their responsibility to the required standards
- Deal openly and promptly with any problems and effectively identify and manage risk as appropriate
- Constantly review and streamline workflow and working conditions in order to achieve labour turnover and efficient operation
- To ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the safety and housekeeping requirements set by the company
- Provide the point of escalation for team for any operational issues
- Act as a bridge between sales, operations & customers
- Write technical report and submit to customer/manufacturer
- Preparation of reports on performance, budget and expenditure
- Plan and achieve financial budget and key performance indicators
- Ad hoc duties as assigned by Supervisors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Diploma with experience in a technical field (including EE, ME, CS, Robotics)
- 3 years of relevant MHE repair (customer facing) work experience
- Class 3 Driving license
- Prior working experience in managing daily workshop operations for at least 2-3 years
- Must be able to focus and drive issues to closure in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong communication and people skills. Customer-centric mindset. Willingness to go above and beyond to keep customers happy.
- Strong analytical and technical knowledge (understanding in Material Handling Equipment repair)
- Experience with Linux (ideally Ubuntu) administration, tools and Bash/Python scripting
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve device and system-level problems in Linux
- Experience with firewalls, VPN and network security technologies
- Working knowledge of SSH, DNS and other network protocols
- Willingness to troubleshoot electro-mechanical components.
- Willingness to work within established systems and product results that either prevent problems from recurring or enable others to solve them more easily in the future.
- Strong team player
- Experience with ROS command line and graphical tools advantageous
