Our client, a leading global P&C insurer, is looking for a Consumer Lines Actuary to join their team in Singapore. The successful candidate will work with underwriting teams to develop and implement pricing strategies and provide analytical support for the consumer lines portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing Strategies: Develop and execute effective pricing strategies in collaboration with underwriting teams.
- Analytical Support: Provide detailed analytical support to senior management.
- Business Intelligence: Lead initiatives related to pricing, business intelligence, and product development.
- Portfolio Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of the portfolio to monitor product, account, and campaign performance.
- Recommendations: Make informed recommendations on underwriting and pricing actions.
- Data Analytics: Stay updated with the latest advancements in data analytics and drive continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar actuarial role within the insurance industry, preferably in consumer lines.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analytics.
- Ability to develop and implement pricing strategies.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of data analytics advancements.
