Accounting Manager
- Working Days: Monday – Friday (8.30am – 6.30pm)
- Salary: $5k - $6k
- Working Location: Ubi
Roles & Responsibilities
- To oversee & manage all accounts functions, supervise Accounts Executive, and manage external accounting service provider.
- Manage all AR accounts receivable functions, which include invoicing via Sage Accounting software, progress claim, accrued revenue, WIP, and follow-up with debtors on receivables.
- Manage all AP functions, including sales commission system.
- To reconcile and manage bank accounts in different currencies daily.
- To manage bank applications such as Letter of Credit and Performance Bond.
- To check and approve the work of outsource accounting company, which undertakes the functions of bookkeeping, GST, and annual tax returns.
- Ensure the accounting process complies with the law.
- Assist with &/or prepare cashflow forecasting reports.
- Assist with &/or prepare any other regulatory submissions.
- Assist with &/or prepare financial reports for HQ in Japan.
- To work closely with other departments (sales / project / supply chain) from beginning to the end of each project, to ensure receivables and payables are handled in proper compliance with accounting procedures, on time, and till completion.
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounts
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Accounts Manager
