Job Scope
· In charge of C&S design and checking for all QP Design and AC projects in Head Office, including building and infra structural works.
· Assist Technical Director to oversee the whole design progress from design requirements, structural scheming, calculations, drawings, authority submissions and site inspection until completion of construction works, and solve all technical issues encountered.
· Liaise and coordinate with Clients, Consultants and Contractors for design requirements and technical matters.
· Attend design coordination meeting and construction progress meeting during design and construction period, and report matters related to projects and assist in solution of issues.
· Assist periodic inspection team in identification of building defects and rectification proposals.
· Assist QP (Supervision) teams in design and review of the Contractor’s design & submissions.
· Assist for Tendering Projects on technical support including design proposal and specifications to facilitate the cost estimation for tender submissions.
· Act on behalf of the company to maintain reputation and goodwill with the clients to enable the company to perform its contractual obligations for the projects.

Criteria:
· Senior Design Engineer (SDE) shall be an engineer in the civil/structural discipline with at least a degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
· Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Civil & Structural design consultancy practice for building & infrastructure projects.
· Conversant with euro codes or local codes and authority submission procedures.
· Good experience in geotechnical works design will be an advantage.
· Have good knowledge of the various engineering design software especially Staad Pro, Tekla Structural Designerand Plaxis.
· Excellent interpersonal, good written and verbal communication skills.
