Job Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards and activities are in compliance with all statutory requirements and company policies.
- Establish/ review SOP, work instruction and operational standard for food quality and safety to meet SFA, Halal, HACCP, EU and FSSC requirements.
- Review effectiveness of corrective/ preventive action initiatives for factory non-conformance.
- Ensure materials (ingredient and packaging), process and product specification are met before production.
Secondary Functions
- Organise and conduct GMP, food safety and CCP/ OPRP related training to factory staff.
- Initiate, drive and implement continuous improvement project to sustain food safety and quality in factory.
- Any other duties as assigned by the company/ immediate superior from time to time. The Company reserves the right to transfer you to other section and enlarge your job scope if necessary.
Job Requirements
- Degree/ Diploma in Food Science/ Chemical Process Technology/ Higher NITEC – with experience
- Able to communicate in Mandarin and English to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Good Quality Controller experience
- Excellent for work process improvements
- Required to communicate well with colleagues and convince them the importance of food safety
- Fully committed to enforce food safety requirements
- Possess analytical skills and initiative
