Responsibilities:
- Review client’s design and consultant’s drawings for any discrepancies, issue RFI and resolve the issue with consultant
- Coordinate with contractor’s design consultant team to carry out any C&S design (temporary and permanent) to ensure that the design is aligned with the company’s Zero Harm policy.
- Review all technical design drawings and calculations to meet client’s specifications and authority compliance
- Work with the project team to advise on any value engineering proposal
- Review the method statement and risk assessment for compliance with the company’s Zero Harm policy.
- Supervise the C&S works and prepare daily site reports
- Lead and manage the subcontractor work progress to align with project schedule, quality and safety.
- Any tasks as assigned by the Project in-charge
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore
- At least 7 years relevant temporary works experience and have an engineering design and construction background
- Familiar with the local codes and standards and able to use STAAD Pro and Plaxis
- Candidates who possess knowledge in AutoCAD and structural software such as Orion, Prokon and Esteem will have an added advantage
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently
- This is a site-based role
