Job Description/Roles and Responsibilities:
- Situated in an international school in the Central area of Singapore.
- Oversee all aspects of the school bus operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate with school administration, bus crew, and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage a fleet of buses and bus crew, route planning, and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Handle emergency situations and implement contingency plans.
- Lead and mentor the operations team, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with customer service to address and resolve any service issues.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of on-the-ground leadership experience in operations management, preferably in transportation or logistics.
- Basic navigation/route planning know-hows.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using operational management software and tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Class 3 Driver or Class 4 Driver's License would be preferable.
- Bus Driver's Vocational License would be preferable.
