Location: WEST (Boon Lay)
Job Duties:
- Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures in line with regulations and best practices.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct safety training for employees and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and safety equipment.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address safety concerns and promote a safe working environment.
- Ensure all safety equipment is in good working condition and employees are trained in its proper use.
- Prepare and submit safety reports as required.
- Support and ensure adherence to all safety processes and initiatives to maintain high safety standards within the facility.
Requirements:
- Minimum Nitec level with WSH Level A/B or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in logistics, manufacturing, or engineering.
- Initiative, creativity, self-motivation, and a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer skills and ability to communicate in English.
- Additional qualifications like WAH Manager/Assessor, Confined Space Assessor, and Risk Management course are advantageous.
