Job Overview:
We are seeking qualified and experienced Clinical Psychologists to join our team on a contract (consultant) basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide online therapy sessions to clients seeking mental health support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide evidence-based psychological interventions in a remote setting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team of psychologists, counsellors, and other wellness professionals to integrate counselling into clients' holistic treatment plans.
- Conduct online therapy sessions with clients using secure video conferencing platforms.
- Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based therapy, and other modalities as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.
- Offer support and guidance to clients as they navigate challenges and work towards improved mental well-being.
- Support and/or conduct mental wellness courses and workshops
- Stay abreast of current research and developments in the field of clinical psychology.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions and professional development activities as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing clinical psychology services
- Registered psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society (SRP)
- Able to commit to a minimum of 10 consultation sessions per week
- Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy to individuals with a variety of mental health concerns.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients in an online setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using online therapy platforms and other digital tools for remote work.
- Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to professional standards of conduct.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays, to accommodate client schedules.
- Possession of valid working permits that allow employment in Singapore.
