Within the Global Total Rewards and Performance team, this role entails offering in-depth subject matter expertise and guidance to align our job architecture and job evaluation policies and processes with the ever-changing business landscape, serving as an overall guardian.
This role will act as the Global Rewards Expert for skills, ensuring coherence and consistency in career level mapping, and contribute to the design of skills-based rewards program and other related policies, as part of the ongoing Skills Project.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Rewards Expert to support the development and implementation of the new Career Architecture, playing a key role in establishing job evaluation and grading governance processes to maintain quality and consistency of all job mappings, including career levels and global job titling decisions.
- Collaborate with the cross-functional skills project team, HR representatives and subject matter experts to develop the new career architecture, define and establish future state processes, and proactively identify potential issues, trends, and improvement opportunities, especially during the implementation and transition phase.
- Lead training and communication content development to effectively communicate the design principles and changes of the new career architecture from a rewards perspective, delivering training to HR, managers, and employees to ensure understanding, alignment and effective change management.
- Leverage data analytics and insights to continually assess and improve career architecture and job evaluation processes and tools.
- Collaborate with the Global Rewards COE to pioneer the implementation and enhance Schneider’s approach to skills-based rewards, aligning with the overarching Rewards Strategy and other rewards policies to ensure fairness, transparency, and competitiveness.
- Engage and coordinate with both internal and external communities, including Global Talent CoE, Schneider Digital, People Analytics, Rewards Hub, Internal Communication, consultants, and vendors.
- Provide support to other project areas as necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 to 6 years of working experience in HR-related discipline, Compensation and Benefits related specialization is a plus, especially experience in job architecture and job evaluation
- Experienced in providing support to global, cross-cultural organizations
- Ability to navigate in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment, and add value through the development of creative solutions to challenging problems
- Work on own initiatives and anticipate issues, trends and opportunities for continuous improvement, and present compelling recommendations for change
- Proven organisational skills, hands-on approach and detail-oriented with ability to function under pressure
- Ability to simplify complex situations, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated partnering and collaborative skills as there would be multiple interfaces within the project team
- Fluent in English & excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Excel and HR systems capabilities
