Staff Nurse – Renal Services

Job Descriptions:
· Support nursing philosophy and the vision, mission and values of the organisation
· Provide quality nursing care for an assigned group of patients
· Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care plan.
· To prepare equipment and patient for dialysis.
· Initiate and terminate haemodialysis
· Monitoring patient's parameters before and after haemodialysis.
· Assess patient's needs during dialysis (e.g. psychological, emotional and physical)
· Assist with procedures related to dialysis therapy
· Implement established operational and nursing policies and procedures.
· Provide orientation and guidance to junior nurses.
· Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with staff, patients and public.
· Maintain a safe and clean centre environment, furnishing and equipment.
· Participate, contribute, and implement changes to work processes
· Attend continuing nursing education to maintain clinical knowledge and competence
· Participate in nursing research
· Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
· Diploma in Nursing or equivalent
· Registered Nurse (Full-Registration) with Singapore Nursing Board
· Good interpersonal, listening and communication skills
· Good team player
· Trained in BCLS + AED/CPR
